Let your own suffering be a gift for others
In moments of suffering, we can ask ourselves the question how we can improve our situation. Sometimes, the only thing we can do is taking an internal choice how to react upon a challenging situation, but oftentimes, we can execute our will power to change the outcome. The challenge of being ill, is not to endure it, but to overcome and learn how to be healthy again. In our healing process, we can exponentially impact the lives of others by showing the way or pointing out obstacles we have been through ourselves. Instead of being greedy and keeping things for yourself, you can greatly enhance the quality of life of others by sharing your personal experience in overcoming suffering. It may not always work for others in the same way, but it may very well be an universal principle that can be applied in other contexts. Many great inventions or ideas originate from personal obstacles, or out of the compassion to alleviate the suffering of others. The necessity to overcome personal suffering can be so intense, that the mind will seek for solutions to alleviate the pain. By healing our own misery first, we can greatly assist others in their challenges. Following this principle, we are transmuting pain into boons, misery into happiness and greed into compassion. This is true alchemy.
Sometimes we can feel so alienated in our own misery that we forget that everybody has their own deal of pain and suffering. The greatest gift then is to recognize how we can enhance the lives of others, by enhancing ours simultaneously. Whenever you stumble upon a solution for something that has bothered you for such a long time, you have discovered a potential boon to redeem your society, to heal your people, to share the gift.
By letting our own suffering be a gift for others, we enhance each others creative impact, and abundance will come in ways you could not have dreamed of even in your wildest fantasies. Just think about the pain you had to endure and how grateful you would have been if someone offered you a solution for the greatest pain you have. You would be so filled of gratitude that you couldn’t help yourself giving something in return, even if this is just a meal, a smile or a thank you, you would be eternally grateful and always ready to return the favor when needed.
Many ideas and inventions are hold back from the public eye because it would not be ‘profitable’ in our capitalistic system. Think again, the greatest abundance occurs when a gift is shared without strings attached, simply due to the impact it would have if many are helped by it. That it does not work in the capitalistic system, does not mean it won’t work with humans. Great ideas and inventions are meant to be shared with all who can benefit from it, this to me generates abundance beyond our wildest dreams.
All the best,
