Why imperfection makes the art
Every saint or sage will admit that perfection is a comfortable illusion. It is only the striving of maximizing the balance of opposites that can be achieved. Everyone is tempted to slip into falseness or out of balance once in a while. The art of living is, therefore, not found in guilt trips or perfectionism, but in the progressive progress of removing falseness. Like cleaning a dirty pool of water, can one gain more clarity by removing the dirt. However, dirt is an intrinsic part of the water and it will never be completely clean in that way. The realisation of once own falseness can lead to the cultivation of more humbleness and grace. The acknowledgement and acceptance of once own flaws can lead to more inner peace. It is more an unfolding of more potential then a destination of perfection. There will always be more to explore and cultivate.
